I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Comparative Literature at Cornell University. I received my M.St. in film aesthetics from Oxford University and my B.A. in English Literature from Tsinghua University in Beijing. My work primarily explores the notion of “intermedial poetics” (poetry, music, and cinema), which draws on a variety of avant-garde traditions in the 20th century. I also work on digital poetry, literary art, and conceptual writing in dialogue with codework, mathematical formalism, and algorithmic aesthetics.
